Ramazan Çakırcı, vice president of Eğitim-Bir-Sen, attended the 13th Ordinary General Assembly of Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan (TUESWRT).

Ramazan Çakrıcı congratulated Zulhiya Nozakova, who was elected as the chairman in the general assembly. Çakırcı stated that the increase in cooperation and communication between the unions would be of great benefit to the workers of the world.

Thanking TUESWRT managers for their invitation, Çakırcı said, “I congratulate the newly elected President Zulhiya Nozakova and her teammates. I hope that this election will be beneficial for both your union and for the education workers of your country.”

Nozakova: Educators’ Trade Union of Turkey is a good model for us

Nozakova stated that she believes Educator’ Trade Union (Eğitim-Bir-Sen) and Turkey are a good model for them and she added, “As someone who had the opportunity to see the successes of Eğitim-Bir-Sen closely in the field of unionism, I must say that Eğitim-Bir-Sen is a good model for us. In addition, we have been in cooperation with Eğitim-Bir-Sen for many years. I believe that this cooperation is beneficial and productive for both sides, and I hope that it will continue to increase.”

Meeting and Visits

Ramazan Çakırcı met with Hisham Rıdvan, President of Egypt Education and Science Workers Union and Ravshan Bedilov president of Uzbekistan Education, Science and Culture Workers Union, who attended the congress, and then visited a kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and high school in Dushanbe. Noting that the education staff duly fulfilled a difficult task, Çakırcı thanked the education workers who made great efforts to ensure that students did not stay away from education during the epidemic that affected the world.

At the end of his journey Çakırcı paid a visit to Tacikistan Trade Union Federation.
